Responsibilities:

In this position you have responsibilities in research, training and support of R&D projects in medical and applicatory questions. You generate scientific evidence supporting Hamilton Medical products by managing clinical studies during their full life-cycle from protocol design to final data analysis and scientific paper writing. Additionally, you provide advanced training to physicians, Hamilton Medical staff and dealers including the preparation and maintenance of training material and documents. Preparing presentations and writing scientific articles about our products and research results for workshops, international congresses, scientific journals or marketing purposes is part of your work as well. You act as a contact person for the engineering team in case of applicatory and medical questions. Finally, you are expected to actively take part in the innovation process by generating ideas for new applications, new products and for improvement of our existing products.

Beside your education as a medical doctor, respiratory therapist (with PhD) or equivalent, you have proven clinical and research expertise (minimum 5 years) in intensive care and mechanical ventilation. Strong language and communication skills in English (German would be a plus) are required. You are proficient in PC computer usage (particularly MS Office) and willing to travel. We seek for outstanding candidates: curious, strongly motivated and initiative, with excellent problem-solving skills, eager to bring their projects forward.

This position allows you to continue your previous clinical occupation (max. 50%) and to combine with this thrilling, challenging employment at Hamilton Medical (at least 50%). Your place of residence is within Europe, whereas you will be working at Hamilton Medical in Bonaduz on a regular basis (approximately 1 week every 1-2 months).

Qualifications:

• Medical doctor,

• respiratory therapist (with PhD) or equivalent,

• with clinical and research expertise (minimum 5 years) in intensive care and mechanical ventilation
