Technical Support Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
In this challenging position you will work on our customized projects related to integrated liquid handling systems.
You will install, upgrade and maintain the complete instruments portfolio of Hamilton Robotics (liquid handlers, plate handlers, decapper, 2D barcode reader and other devices) across the Spanish territory. You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and/or electronics issues and perform preventive maintenance and functionality check. With your detailed understanding of local market requirements, you will monitor and adhere to field service policies, procedures and technical standards as well as recommend changes as necessary.
Becoming a part of the Support Team, your contribution to improve and develop the Service Support Quality to our customers is a key point of keeping the “level of excellence” of the products portfolio.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in electronics or mechanics or related discipline
- Experienced in the position (2-3 years) on high technology content instruments (automated devices)
- Strong communication and customer support skills are needed
- Must be a proven self motivated individual and possess a valid driver’s license
- Available to frequently travel across Spain (rarely in Portugal) and stay overnight (1-2 nights per week in average)
- English language is a must (second language is a plus). Knowledge of a programming language is appreciated
