Position Summary

As a Junior Controller, you will support the controlling team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and performance monitoring across the organization. You will assist in preparing analyses, reports, and forecasts that provide management with insights into financial performance and support decision-making. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset and a keen interest in developing their career in controlling and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Conduct cost center and project-related analyses
  • Monitor financial performance indicators and provide ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the controlling function
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments to gather and validate data
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for management reporting

That’s what you bring along:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Practical experience in controlling, accounting, or auditing

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally SAP or Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Ability to work with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in working with numbers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and grow within the role
