The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces and distributes pipetting robots for the automation of liquid handling processes for a wide range of customers from the pharmaceutical and food industry, all the way to cell and DNA research.

How you can make a difference:

In this interdisciplinary role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • International Business-To-Business (B2B) Sales of Automated Liquid Handling Solutions to our ("OEM") Partners, primarily in the In-Vitro Diagnostic market

  • Acquisition of new Partners in existing as well as new application areas, supported by a dedicated team to design and develop the Automation Solution for our Partners

  • Continuous Exploration of the market potential for the automation of applications in a new or diverse range of subject areas

  • Accountability for customer and product throughout the entire sales & lifecycle process, consisting of:
    – Sales- & Prototype Phase
    – Project Phase
    – Lifecycle Management Phase of the Final Product

That’s what you bring along:

  • BSc or MSc in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Clinical Chemistry, Proteomics, Immunoanalysis, Cell Analysis or other applicable technologies

  • A clear track record and proven knowledge of Laboratory Automation as well as of the regulated diagnostics market

  • Sales Experience is mandatory; candidate is able to demonstrate a track record of successful sales performance and meeting or exceeding targets

  • Strong desire to seek out and close new business opportunities with a relentless pursuit of sales goals

  • Communicative personality, capable of working in a team

  • Reliability, a solid sense of responsibility and resilience, initiative and organizational skills shall be recognizable strengths

  • Able to work remotely out of a home office, the location of which will be subject of discussion during the recruitment process

  • Must be able to travel up to 30% (in Europe) of the time without restriction and holds a valid drivers' license

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), native language Italian or French

  • Preferred location of the candidate: South of Europe; France or Italy preferred
