How you can make a difference:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Supplier Quality Management team.
    • Allocate resources to meet business needs and maintain compliance.
    • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Supplier Quality Oversight:
    • Develop and implement a supplier quality strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
    • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics, such as defect rates, corrective actions, and delivery timelines.
    • Manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and ensure regular updates.
  • Compliance and Audits:
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), EU MDR (2017/745), and ISO 13485 standards.
    • Drive the implementation of CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and ensure timely closure.
    • Manage supplier-related non-conformances and deviations.
  • Risk Management:
    • Perform supplier risk assessments and drive mitigation plans.
    • Ensure robust supplier quality agreements are in place.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage supplier risks impacting product quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain thorough documentation of supplier evaluations, audits, and quality performance data.
    • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance supplier capability and performance.
    • Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates.

That’s what you bring along:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, preferably in the medical device industry or automotive.
  • Demonstrated expertise in FDA and EU MDR regulatory environments.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and related standards.
  • Proficiency in supplier quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, and SPC.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
