Die Business Unit Robotics entwickelt, produziert und vertreibt Pipettier-Roboter, um Liquid Handling Prozesse für die Pharma-, über die Nahrungsmittelindustrie bis hin zur Zell- oder DNA-Forschung zu automatisieren.

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer / AI Solution Architect who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience in Artificial Intelligence, especially in applying modern AI capabilities such as Large Language Models (LLMs) into real-world products.

This is a hands-on engineering role, not a purely conceptual or research-oriented position. The ideal candidate actively builds, experiments, and delivers production-ready software while contributing to the strategic adoption of AI across products and teams.

The role sits at the intersection of:

• Software engineering
• AI/ML application
• Product innovation

The candidate will play a key role in shaping how AI is integrated into current and future products and will contribute to internal AI capabilities, tooling, and best practices.

Das bringst du mit:

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or at a related field with focus on AI

• 5+ years of experience in software development and in working with AI / Machine Learning

• Technical skills in programming and Engineering (C#, Python or TypeScript, Java, Go)

• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs, AI APIs and integration)

• strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders

• Mentoring and coaching mindset

• Curiosity and continuous learning attitude

• English (C1) and as a plus German (B2) written and spoken
