Hamilton Storage develops, produces and distributes robots for the storage of up to ten million compounds for pharmaceutical companies. We also build robots to store biological substances at temperatures up to -80 degree Celsius, which are used for biobanks in clinical research.

How you can make a difference:

As Product Manager, you are responsible for a new product family, with focus on clinical diagnostics. The responsibility includes the whole lifecycle of the products and includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Short- and mid-term product portfolio development for the clinical diagnostic market

  • Actively participate in project teams and support the product development process until the market launch 

  • Definition, prioritization, and alignment of product features, according to both market strategy and technical requirements

  • Manage the product life cycle, across the entire product line, continuous review of portfolio performance

  • Maintain market knowledge, trends, competition, and customer needs, identifying and analyzing market opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales and Marketing Communications

  • Support the Sales Team with specific customer requests

  • Create content for both, marketing and product documentation

  • Attend Exhibitions, Conferences, Symposia and Webinars, as well as organize product trainings

That’s what you bring along:

  • PhD, Master’s or Bachelor degree in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics, Cell Biology, Biotechnology or similar. Alternatively an equal degree in engineering in combination with relevant experience in Clinical Diagnostics also qualifies for the position.

  • Product Management experience in the Diagnostics or Life Sciences industry, or relevant B2B experience

  • Technology affine

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Well-organized and efficient in self-management

  • Analytical skills and the ability to work independently

  • Team-oriented, problem-solving attitude

  • Fluent in German and very good English is a must (C1 level)

  • Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
