Business Development Manager Industrial Applications 80 – 100 % (f/m/d)

At our site in Germany , we sell state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in the biopharmaceutical, chemical and brewery industry, as well as pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical and food industry through to cell and DNA research.

How you can make a difference:

We are seeking a strategic and market‑driven Business Development professional to expand the focus of our product development, marketing and sales activities. While our current product emphasis lies in biopharmaceutical applications, the future mandate is to broaden this scope into chemical and industrial processes and applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze the existing product portfolio and identify attractive industrial applications where our products and solutions can be successfully positioned

• Identify and engage suitable customers in plant engineering and among end‑users, either directly or together with the direct sales team, and further develop these relationships through key account management

• Leverage international connections and collaborate closely with our teams in the United States, China and global business development colleagues to accelerate market access and customer development

• Collect, prepare and communicate market and competitor insights to support portfolio development, marketing initiatives and strategic product decisions

• Support and conduct product trainings, participate in customer visits and coordinate the selection and support of trade fairs and related customer events

That’s what you bring along:

• University degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or engineering

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development or key account management

• Willingness to travel globally and locally (approximately 60 to 70%)

• Professional experience in chemical or industrial processes, wastewater treatment or exhaust gas treatment

• Proven experience in international collaboration with strong ability to navigate cultural differences

• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills

• English fluent in spoken and written form (C1 level). German and additional language skills are an advantage
