Project Manager – Product Development

Hamilton Central Europe is located in Timisoara, Romania and develops and produces microliter syringes, needles, dosing pumps, pipetting modules and accessories for analytical and research laboratories, as well as accessories for medical devices used in intensive care units. In addition, we provide financial accounting services for the Hamilton companies.

Job Description:

• Lead and manage product development projects, ideally in a technical field (engineering, technology, or manufacturing);
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects;
• Monitor project progress, generate reports, and ensure compliance with deadlines and objectives;
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing non-conformities and preventing delays;
• Maintain strong communication and interpersonal relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients;
• Handle challenging situations effectively by applying conflict resolution and crisis management skills;
• Work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously;
• Utilize project management software and tools effectively, with proficiency in IT systems related to project execution;
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to assign tasks, define responsibilities, and prioritize activities for the project team;
• Adopt a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement to optimize project outcomes.

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience in managing product development or implementation projects
• Strong project planning, coordination, and execution skills
• Familiar with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of technical concepts and product development processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with stakeholders and teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and delays efficiently
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Proficient in project reporting, documentation, and archiving according to internal standards
• Strong leadership skills in team coordination, conflict resolution, and crisis management
• Fluent in English (mandatory); German is a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving project requirements.
