Quality Incoming Engineer (Temporary Contract)

Hamilton Central Europe is located in Timisoara, Romania and develops and produces microliter syringes, needles, dosing pumps, pipetting modules and accessories for analytical and research laboratories, as well as accessories for medical devices used in intensive care units. In addition, we provide financial accounting services for the Hamilton companies.

Job Description:

• Define Control Plan for Prototype, Pre and Serial products
• Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Quality Control Plan etc.) to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements.
• Coordination of the validation process for material samples.
• Drive root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirements.
• Evaluation of internal quality records, as well as the measures and the preparation of reports (error reports, scrap)  
• Provide technical assistance to Buyers to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge and communication with suppliers.
• Conduct review of current suppliers relating to performance in quality, engineering
• Following and maintaining targets in the company
• The contract is concluded for a fixed period of 2 years

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Technical University Degree;
• Proven experience in a similar fiend of minimum 2 years;
• Ability to understand, discuss and align technical requirements with internal departments and suppliers with high focus on requirements engineering based on drawings and specifications.
•  Analytic approach, self assured, ability to work under pressure, ability to convince others, result orientation, decision making ability, willingness to take responsibility, team spirit, negotiation skills.
• Very good knowledge of PC (Microsoft Office – Excel, D365 is a plus);
• Very good English knowledge (reading, writing, speaking); German is a plus;
