How you can make a difference:

We’re looking for a System Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, values high standards, and is excited by the challenge of developing next-generation medical solutions. You will play a key role in shaping complex systems from initial concept to market-ready products, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design Smart Systems: Define safe, reliable system architectures that meet clinical needs, customer expectations, and regulatory demands — with a practical view of feasibility and value.

  • Balance Quality & Timelines: Lead the system lifecycle — from requirements to integration and validation — keeping safety, usability, and delivery on track.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with project managers, engineers, and regulatory experts to turn ideas into fully realized, standards-compliant products.

  • Ensure Efficient Compliance: Guide integration and verification planning with a pragmatic approach to MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 requirements.

  • Optimize Engineering Workflow: Improve traceability and efficiency using modern ALM tools and best practices in requirement and test engineering.

That’s what you bring along:

  • Degree in engineering or a related technical field (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH, or equivalent).

  • Several years of hands-on experience in medical device development or other regulated fields.

  • Skilled in balancing technical depth with decision-making that keeps projects on track.

  • Mindset and strong drive for continuous improvement — you actively suggest, shape, and get involved in evolving how things are done.

  • Clear communicator and pragmatic problem solver who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams.

  • Comfortable with regulatory standards — or willing to grow into them. Experience with MDR, ISO 13485, FDA, or IEC 60601 is a plus.

  • Fluent in English. German is a strong advantage.
