At our site in Italy , we sell state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in the biopharmaceutical, chemical and brewery industry, as well as pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical and food industry through to cell and DNA research.

How you can make a difference:

Please submit your CV and motivation letter in English language and be prepared to conduct the interview process in English language

  • Perform customized engineering tasks for integrated liquid handling systems

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain the full Hamilton Robotics instrument portfolio, including liquid handlers, plate handlers, decapper, 2D barcode reader, and other devices, primarily in Northwest of Italy, with occasional assignments across the Italian territory

  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and/or electronic issues, and perform preventive maintenance and functionality checks on the instruments

  • Monitor and adhere to field service enginering technical policies, procedures, and technical standards, and recommend changes when necessary

  • Contribute to improving and developing the Fiel Service Engineer Support Quality for our customers

  • Ensure and maintain the “level of excellence” of the products portfolio service

That’s what you bring along:

  • High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electronics or mechatronics or related discipline

  • 2 to 3 years' experience on a similar Field Service Enginering role, preferably working on biotech instruments (e.g. automated devices, liquid handling systems)

  • Strong communication skills and customer focused approach

  • Proven ability to work independently and self motivate

  • Valid driver licence is required

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Northwest Italy and other regions across Italy (occasional travel within Europe), including overnight stays (average 1 -2 nights per week)

  • English proficiency (C1 level) and Italian language required

  • Knowledge of a programming is a plus
