How you can make a difference:

For our development team responsible for developing the embedded software for our high-end ventilators, we are seeking several Software Verification Engineers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in software testing and engineering, particularly in the field of medical technology.
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing software test plans, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with the development team to investigate defects, maintaining and improving test plans.
 

  • Execute software test plans on integration and system levels to ensure software quality and reliability for ventilators.

  • Identify and document any issues or defects.

  • Collaborate with the development team to investigate and pinpoint defects.

  • Maintain, change, and improve test plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

That’s what you bring along:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in software testing or software engineering.
  • Basic programming experience in object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with development and testing of embedded devices.
  • Proficiency with UNIX-like operating systems and tools such as VxWorks.
  • Experience with testing in safety-critical areas.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python.
  • B1 or above proficiency in German.
