Hamilton Central Europe is located in Timisoara, Romania and develops and produces microliter syringes, needles, dosing pumps, pipetting modules and accessories for analytical and research laboratories, as well as accessories for medical devices used in intensive care units. In addition, we provide financial accounting services for the Hamilton companies.

Job Description:

  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and continuous engagement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing timely support, clarifications, and assistance related to orders, technical requirements, and ongoing projects.
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable internal tasks for production, engineering, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor ongoing orders, deliveries, and after-sales feedback to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate satisfaction and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions, technical requests, and commercial discussions using CRM software.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations or documentation when required.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (production, quality, engineering, logistics) to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Support the quotation process by gathering customer requirements and ensuring clear communication between the customer and internal estimating teams.
  • Handle complaints or non-conformities in coordination with the quality team, ensuring timely and professional resolution.

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

  • University-level studies – preferably in Engineering.
  • Previous experience in customer service, account management, or sales engineering, preferably within the machining or metal fabrication industry
  • Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, CNC turning, and milling processes (a strong advantage).
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Fluency in commercial and technical English; German is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and contribute to long-term partnerships.
