Technical Support Engineer in Greater Paris Area 80 – 100 % (w/m/d)

Hamilton Storage develops, produces and distributes robots for the storage of up to ten million compounds for pharmaceutical companies. We also build robots to store biological substances at temperatures up to -80 degree Celsius, which are used for biobanks in clinical research.
How you can make a difference:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Installation and commissioning of new Biobank and Compound Management Systems
- Training and technical advice to our customers
- Performing regular maintenance work
- Repair services in the event of a fault
- Independent planning, execution, and documentation of the work
- Introduction of corrective and preventive measures
- Interface with cross-functional work teams such as R&D, Customer Service, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales
That’s what you bring along:
- A degree in technical engineering or an equal technical education
- Preferably a background in the Life Science market
- Professional experience in a similar position is an advantage
- Accustomed to working independently
- Customer-oriented and at the same time entrepreneurial thinking
- You work reliably under time pressure, flexible and resilient
- Fluent written and spoken French and English
The candidate shall preferably be based in the greater Paris area to reach most customers in a short time. The focus is Paris area and France. International travel may be required too for training or back filling in another region if a colleague is on leave.
The candidate must be okay with being away from home for 2-3 nights a week. This depends on the distance between the candidate’s place of living and the customer site.
