Technical Support Specialist

Hamilton Central Europe is located in Timisoara, Romania and develops and produces microliter syringes, needles, dosing pumps, pipetting modules and accessories for analytical and research laboratories, as well as accessories for medical devices used in intensive care units. In addition, we provide financial accounting services for the Hamilton companies.

Job Description:

• Customer support and communication related to product performance and technical specifications (technical understanding: operating data; specific measurements; communication protocols, applications and methods, of Hamilton products) 
• Replicate and/ or investigate customer requests, support by email, phone or customer visit.
• Evaluation and prioritization of support inquiries.
• Cooperation with all internal and external departments of the organization, if necessary.
• First contact person for technical support inquiries from customers about our laboratory products.

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Technical University degree/ Biomedical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry  
• Working knowledge of customer relationship management
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Customer oriented skills, providing technical advice to customers
• Fluency in English (writing and speaking), good German or other languages skills are an advantage
• Good computer skills (Windows, Office, etc.)
• Team player and cooperative with other departments (Sales, Order Processing, Product management, R&D, Production, etc.)
• Sociable person, with good communication skills with customers
• Independent and target oriented
